My computer park
Albeit the days of the sharp distinction between Mac and PC are over, as Steven Jobs, CEO of Apple, declared in a joint interview with Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft Corporation, in 2007 — Steve just terms them PCs, I belong to the exquisite minority of Mac users, as I have been since 1989. And I am happy about it. Hearing the startup chime is a sublime pleasure. My Macintoshes are
- an iMac of 2007, a monster by 2007 standards (2,4 MHz Intel, 300 GB HD, 3 GB RAM)
- Power Macintosh G4 (Quicksilver), code named Titan, and
- a PowerBook 5300 cs / 100.
I have tried to outline their configurations; feel free to ask me any questions about the models.
Nostalgic as I am, I include a description of the Macintoshes I once had: My old computers.
