The Twelve Fields of Life

There are many ways to describe oneself. Astrology is one of them. Occidental astrology considers that man's life on Earth takes part in 12 fields of activity, also called the twelve houses. Their position in an individual's horoscope depends on the time of birth. The beginning (the cusp) of the 1st House corresponds to the Ascendant, i.e., the rising sign at the moment of birth; astronomically, this corresponds to the eastern horizon (even correcter — where the eastern horizon was when Caesar made his calendar). The first house is believed to describe the physical appearance, espeacially the body. Second house relates to the property and so on through the next ten houses.
