Value concept
Why aiding?
It would be wonderful to live in a world where everybody could do on their
own. Yet this is not an ideal world. Many regions all over the world need support
to get on a good economic and material footing. Getting self-running and well-running
benefits not only the citizens of the given region. In the Western hemisphere,
from which most aid comes, the donating countries can enjoy improved internal
stability, a lower pressure on the borders due to economic migration, as well
as improved
markets
for exchanges of markets and services in general.
TGK Consult ventures into this to offer its contribution to a world order of
more equalization, progress and stability.
- Focusing
-
International aid must be used focused so as to maximise the results on the
recipient locations. Focusing means expenditure control, focusing means involving the lay member of the recipient society,
and it means leaving people self-running and self-helped when the projects expire.
- Lower the mediator administration costs
Focusing implies that major parts of the administration is being outsourced
from TGK Consult to the recipients themselves. Book-keeping, accountancy, payments
to local workers as well as other expenses are carried out to the highest possible
degree by the recipient party. Apart from cost-minimizing, this has additional
benefits:
-
The people upgrade their competences;
-
self-esteem in the recipient body increases;
-
the recipients becomes an increased sense of responsibility
towards the project.
This has a sensible impact on the overall results of the project. We thus
transit from help to self-help.
Also, it optimizes the use of the funds.
- Free-flowing communication : Speaking the recipient's language
- The communication must flow unhindered between the consultant and recipient.
TGK Consult uses no interpreters, but communicates in languages that the recipient
party knows. E.g., when dealing with recipient bodies within the Russian Federation,
TGK Consult uses Russian as the chief mean of communication.
In this way we avoid misunderstandings due to linguistic and cultural differences.
We interact directly and act swiftly.
